I've picked up an original Holden map of Australia that I was informed was only issued to dealers on the route of the torch relay for 1956 Oylimpic Games.
It is in excelent condition other than a small tear on bottom of map. The map shows the route from Cairns to Melbourne and shows that the torch was due to arrive Melbourne at 4.32 PM on the 22nd of ? The tear is at the start of the month and only "ember" is readable.  There is part of a letter that could be an O but I'm not sure.
I'm know someone there will know, and also how common this map was.

Hey dnb
I have seen these go through ebay on occasion, but it has probably been about 1 1/2 years since the last I saw.
They are rare and a nice item to have.
Congrats on the score.
Regards
