I have a pair of old roof racks in the garage, not sure of vintage but very like what I had on my FC  back in '67. One bar has sticker still, reads Whybirds Ipswich. The bars are round tubing (bit like old water pipe) and are nice and straight. Would perhaps be good for a daily driver to collect some of those things that won't fit in the boot.
I had them on E-Bay and did not get a bid with my $25.00 starting price so if anyone can use them come and take them for free.
I'm in Melbourne (Noble park) and if you give me an e-mail address I can send pics. Can't seem to get them on here.
If interested feel free to give me a call on 0409 533 077

I've still the roof racks to give away, now I've learned to post photos it will give a better idea what they are like.
I have some rubber lying about that is ok for the bottoms of the brackets, just need to clean them up and find some rubbers for the ends.
