l have got hold of a 5 speed box out of a commodore for next to nothing and would like to know what is involved in puttung it in a FC? Any good points/ any bad points as it will be going behind a 202 xu1 type motor. Thanks for any help-Mark

Not the strongest of gear box I broke 2 of these 5 speeds in my one toner with a warm 202 in six months and I am not that hard on a car sell it and get a supra 5 speed and you will never look back . The good thing about them is the ratios were nice ......FC427.......

Thanks FC427 for the advice, does the gear box you mentioned still needs changes to the hump in the FC or is there a gear box suitable for a hot six where the hump can be left as is Thanks-Mark
