Can etch primer go over body filler where it feathers out to the bare metal, or should i just use a primer?
                      Thanks, Glenn

I've done this before and haven't had any hassles with it...yet Grin I don't know of a reason why it can't be.

Prob not much help but by the sounds of it if there's something wrong with it I've got more to worry about than you!! Grin

Regards

from what ive heard acids in the etch may not be compatible with acids if i use etch i usuallyturn the fan down a bit and just put one coat on the metal and dodge the bog, then i clean the gun, have a smoke and spray on the hs primer.

Glen Acrylic is not so bad if you get it on the polyester putty ,just use a rag with thinners on it and wipe over the putty to remove the Etch and then Acrylic prime it ......FC427........
