Hi All

Just wanting to know whether anyone can give me an idea where to get radio and wiper knobs for our FC Special sedan? I've been told they're as rare as hen's teeth - and I'm beginning to believe it!

Also, is there anywhere decent I can order scuff plates or Holden letters from? I've tried a main supplier here in SA, but the customer service is severely lacking (we ordered them last November, and only got a call this week to say we had to come and collect them as soon as possible!).

Cheers

That's not really a fair comment, I have found Rare Spares in Adelaide to be very helpful, just because they have to wait on a supplier for parts doesn't make their service lacking. The Manager also supports a lot of local clubs when he doesn't have to, he's the only Rares Spares dealer in SA.

Hi Stinky

I agree that having to wait does not necessarily constitute poor service, it is the lack of communication that displeased us. I believe it is only fair that the customer be notified by the supplier if they are made to wait over six months. As this did not happen, and we were then told to pick the items up as soon as possible, we thought it was a bit rich.

I think any reasonable person would call that fair comment.

I recently purchased quite a large quantity quantity of parts from Rares in Adelaide and found the service and communication excellent.  Could not find any fault.
