A mate has available brand new HR style rims.
A set of 4 would set you back $250.

He also has a limited supply of Kumho white wall tyres in 185/70/13, as seen above.
These sell for $350 a set of 4.
Here they are fitted to my car.

His name is Craig and he can be contacted at:
Fishers Ghost Tyre Service
Ph (02) 4625 2161
Located in Campbelltown in Sydney, but can arrange shipping around Aust at your cost.

Alex, are your rims 6 inch?
Colin

Hey Colin
I believe so, though not 100% sure.
I had the same size tyre on a standard HR rim before this with no problem.

Just check they will take a hubcap - if you want to use one of course - most of the new rims available are made for trailers & dont have the indent on the 4 hubcap "retainer lugs" so the rim of the hubcap can slip into & stay on, a cap will fit but will fly off.
If you compare with an original rim you will see what I mean.

That photo in the first post sure suggests the wheels have the regular three lugs, or am I missing something Huh

cheers

Lizard,

I wasn't querying the number of lugs particularly, but whether they hold a hubcap or not. They look like they should, but I'm interested to know if they don't. They're definitely less useful if that's the case.

A cap will fit but fly off

Perhaps better explained as a high spot so the cap is forced over when thumped on, that's assuming they are the same as the ones I looked at & they appear to be.

From personal experience, the rims manufactured by ROH as a trailer replacement come in two sizes, the standard size ones (4.5) inch do not hold a hubcap, the wheel centre does not have enough of a "Lip" on the three lugs, they are kinda flat on the outer edge, the cap will sit on but the slightest disturbance and they fall off.
the 6 inch wide rims have an indent the cap fits into and therefore will hold the cap perfectly, I bought a set of 4.5's a while back, and were of no use to me, ended up selling them to someone wanting to run no caps.

These are mentioned as the 6 inch rims so probably will not be an issue, and they may not even be the ROH brand ones?
