Hello,

I'd like to rebuild my distributor, in particular the hall sensor and plug.  in its past life the external plug has been knocked about and there's a bit of play in the plug now.  this has contributed to a no start situation before.

I believe its contributing to a misfire i get from time to  time when driving over rough roads.  Ive cheecked and double checked the wiring and cant seem to locate any intermittent faults, checked all earths and had the multi meter out for hours and hours on end.

anyway.. where am I likely to be able to get a new hall sensor plate taht fits in the dizzy for a VN V8.  or who rebuilds dizzys?  Ive found non OEM replacement complete units but am reluctant to use them as they look cheap and nasty.
 any help appreciated.

Cheers

At Hoppers Stoppers we use Scorcher distributors and have had good results with them always. They are located in Melbourne
