Hi All,
I have a quick question regarding FC/FE panel vans, inside the van where the 1/4 panel and floor meet there is a large gap, going by my mates van it looks like the factory used a hard resin to fill this gap. My van never made it to this stage in the factory, so I only have my freinds to go buy.
    Any clues??
Cheers Muzz..

Muzz - there is / was a rubber seal which was riveted to the floor in I think 2 places (1 at the front and 1 at the rear of the rubber) put in by the factory before the quarter was put on, then it was smeared over with body sealer.  This piece is VERY hard to get back in if you take it out (or it is missing in your case) because original rubbers have gone really hard by now.
Best thing to do is find something like a windscreen rubber section from R/S and trim to fit.
This was used at the factory because they did not want to spot weld the floor panel to the side of the quarter which would then have to be worked before painting.
Hope this helps.
