What can be used to remove silicon sealer off windscreens etc

Has it set?
If it has you can carefully remove it with a razor, otherwise the container usually has instructions on what is best.

Hi Lizard Silicon is not the best thing to use on windscreens for the sealer I usually use Butyl Mastic or a product called DAB OFF which is very very easy to clean up after and great if you have a fabric roof lining and don't want sealer all over it. If you have used acid cure silicon try Acetone ........FC427......

Yeah has well & truly set - it was done by previous owner so no idea what was used - just know it's shit stuff to remove off metal/paint/glass
