How difficult is it to join one of the state car clubs? How expensive is each state? Is there a single national club?
Just thinking of joining 1 or 2 clubs for a closer type contact.

Hey Paul. For more information on the individual clubs, visit the title page and click on a state. This will bring up info on each club, including details of how to join. There is not a national club as such. Go here: http://www.fefcholden.org.au/main.htmlRegards Alex

Do all the clubs do a metal grill badge? Have an inkling it would be nice to set a rail bar above the bumper with badges lined up from all the states clubs - would look good.

Given where I am and the fact that I am more or less stateless, I thought a badge from each state/territory organisation wouldn't look too out of place.
Does everyone produce a metal grill badge even? Maybe there are not all that many I could use anyway.
Paul.

Gooday Paul, The South Australian Club does NOT have a metal badge - our membership is small and the cost to set up and order for a small amount would be horrendous. I think other states that have small memberships like ours would have the same problem. Cheers Hotlips

Paul ,if you like to send me a pm with your email address I can send you a pic of my fc badge bar ,some clubs get a bit precious about their badges ,and will only sell to members ,dont know about f.e/f.c clubs ,usually a rally badge is part of the entry fee when you enter a rally so you soon build up a collection cheers Steve

G'day Paul We don't have a badge for the West Oz club but if your interested in a club sticker or patch for your jacket I'm sure nobody will have any objections. Just let me know and Ill organize something for you. P.S. We've had Kiwis in the club as members so having a leprechaun shouldn't be a problem

Paul,
What Hotlips did not mention is that we do have a sticker which you can see to the left. For a mere $50 AU (Almost nothing in pounds) you can join our club in South Australia and we will send you newsletters every 2 months or so and a couple of stickers for joining.
Robin
PS Once you have joined a club you will be also be able to enter The Nationals.

The sticker says "I'd rather push my Ford than drive a Holden". I agree, I'd rather they pushed their Ford than drive MY Holdens!
