Welcome to the forum.
It is a cool ute.
I enjoyed checking it out at Loftus.
Loved the subtle little details such as the FJ badges.

Thanks for sharing.
BTW, why #2....is there a #1 somewhere?
Regards

Thanks for the Positive feedback Fellas'

The wiper motor is off an EK with a HR 2 speed switch, also the bucket seats are from a Holden Barina, leather covered, with mercedes benz plush carpet on the floor, the parcel shelf is leather covered as well as centre console, the twin 2" exhaust is real.

The Ute was originally built by Darren Cook at Tamworth NSW. I purchased it off Darren and stripped it back to bare and resprayed and modified some more, Darren had already completed most of the hard work. The Barina seats work great as they are the only bucket seat that will have the steering column positioned in the centre of the seat, and give good clearance to the doors.

Everything on the Ute is Holden {GMH} doesn't really do it for me to have a 58' with a Celica gearbox or Isuzu steering column etc!

Sweet looking ute!  Cool

A question regarding the exhaust: How does it sound? I spoke to an exhaust fitter last week as I want to fit a twin system also - he said not to bother as a Holden 6 with twins "barks" and sounds awful.

Cheers,

Ol Girl

hell there ol girl !

Well the 2" system sounds pretty sharp to me, the engine is a 179HP block with the head and big cam jamming it out through extractors, got the old school sound/thump, does the job in my book. Maybe that guy at the exhaust shop only fits the pizza ovens to the rice burners!

One sweet ute. I have an FC Ute which looks virtually identical to look at. Minus the flutes and bonnet emblem they are virtually identical. Will post  pick of mine soon
