The NSW FE FC club received an invitation to the private Linigen Speedway museum. We put it on our run calendar and 14 cars cruised out last Sunday. Lot's of interesting items in this collection of Speedway memorabilia, along with brick-a-brack and even some Drag Racing relics. Here are a few photos of the FE/FC's in attendance. Lot's more pics in my photoalbum, check 'em out here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v117/customfc/Car%20Shows/FEFC%20Speedway/Thanks to Geoff Klimpsch for climbing the tower for some of the shots. Also thanks to Ted Lowe for some shots at the end of the album, taken at a previous visit, showing what was under cover that we couldn't see. Regards Alex

After the 'arty' shots I created after our recent Tramway run, I was asked to give it another go. Here are the results. PLMKWYT. Regards Alex

Thanks Alex, some nice FE & FCs amongst that group of 14. The museum pics are great also, almost like visiting there myself, thanks. Did you pick the FE/FC Hub Cap in the corner of the pic with the car 556? Red

Great pics Alex,
love the colour on grey effect.
Looks like I missed a good run. I noticed the wagon had radiator issues after i got home from the last club meeting... what started as a simple fix the leak has ballooned to something bigger.
trying to get it sorted out before nostalgia drags.
Cheers
Ed

Hey Jeff From memory it was P Graham. When my PC comes back to life, I should be able to read it on the high res shots. If you find out any background on this car, I would be interested to know it. Regards Alex

Gday Alex I'll try to find some info on it if we can identify it. Do you have any idea when it may have been in active use, or what state it was originaly from? It looks early to mid 60's. Cheers jeff

Hey Jeff I agree, looks to be early 60's. Here are the details on the side, including the cars name, state, class and number. Any connections at ANDRA? The sticker is of the 70's Nationals in Surfers Paradise. I am fairly sure that Brian aquired them at the same time, from the same person, who was the widow of the man who owned them before Brian. The THING was built and driven by Bob Goudie out of the Riverina, so I don't know how the 2 cars ended up together in NSW. Regards Alex
