Relating a story, hope it helps others.
I have been looking to get some round profile rubber foam to make up some windlace for a customer, called in at a well known national rubber and pool supply store and they had it at $6 plus per metre. Checked the price at a lesser known Adelaide store (Fitch the Rubber Man) and their price is $3:50 per metre, there are probably similar stores in other states so it pays to shop around.
