Nes is talking about the horn contact - On the FE it is a cap spring and brass base held together with a fine copper wire. On an FC the unit consists of a brass base with a pressed metal slider which provides the electrical contact. They are interchangeable and the FE type is available as a repro from Rare Spares if you can't find one.
