G'Day all,

I went to my local tyre company last week to get the tyres off my old and damaged FE rims, the owner said "why are you trying to sandblast and repair these when I can get you new rims for $55 each"

Well I nearly fell over, and said "you beauty can you order in 5"

Tyres Cheap in Windsor NSW is the company, but I am sure other companies can do the same.

I picked them up today and will get them into colour with the rest of the Ute very soon.

Regards

Think you'll find these are trailer wheels - but they may not have the 'indents' on the 3 raised area's for the hubcaps to snap into - which is ok if you don't use hubcaps.

How'd you go with the wheels John, are they trailer wheels like Lizard mentioned???

I'll be kicking myself if there not as i just ordered my new 13x10's and they were ALOT more expensive then $55  Sad

Hi Grandmasterb

Yes Lizard is right, I am thinking about TIG welding a spot that will catch the rim, or I may set in a lathe and cut a groove in them, or get Morton and May in Warwick Farm to make them at $185 each.

What do you think.
