Hey guys, new to forum just got a question for ya's. me and dad were cleaning out his shed the other day found this, he's not 100% but thinks its out of his old FX (he also had FB,EK and a FC) , anyone have any idea. can post more pics if it helps. thanks,

Is it marked 6 volts?

Yep that is the style that was fitted to FX/FJ and also some other cars as well.  If the radio has no voltage marking on it lift the lid and have a look what the voltage marking is on it.  The vibrator is a metal can about 35mm dia and around 90mm high with either 4 or 6 pins on the bottom of the unit.  2 of the pins will be larger than the rest.
