Hi All
Just a quick message to say i am back on this forum. spent a bit of time on the fb/ek forum while i had my modified green EK ute . Ute sold and went to Coogee Beach.
I have just bought the white windowless fC Panelvan that was for sale down near Bargo. Bloke told me it was "Slims" car.
202/ 4 speed/ dual circuit HK brakes and booster/ HR disc front end/ bucket seats???
We drove the car back to Newcastle on saturday. drives great and is happy at 110kph. doesnt wander around all over the road and stops great. Got a bit of rust to chase out around the right side gutter and a few minor bits in the gaurds but nothing underneath to worry about.

Any history on the van would be much appreciated?? Not even sure if Slim is still here on the forum???

Am chasing a towbar , preferrably local if anyone can help??
See "parts wanted".

Cheers all

Yo

Managed to score a van towbar off Phill Illfield in Newcastle.
Van was  "Dans" car. Apparently it use to live around Bondi. before it went through Slims hands to the bloke i bought it from at Razorback.

My old ute is easily spotted it has sedan rear quarters/ tailights grafted into the rear with a full rear bumper bar, filler cap from either side and a 100 litre staino drop tank hanging under its bum.
14" steel chrome mages with flappers.

Last i seen of it . it had a Vvvveeerrry nice looking fashion accessory sitting up in the passangers seat Shocked Shocked Tongue

Hi Surferboy..... Yup .. short messages arent normally my style eh.
Now that i have the FC Panno. Looks like i might get tangled up in the 2008 FE/FC Nationals while we are at Blue Lakes van Park - Mt Gambier next year with you and the rest of the vintage caravan mob Cool. Add to that the Panelvan Nationals in the same area and i will be heading in three different directions at once Undecided Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin
