Well 24 hrs after I left Albury I have finally arrived home. 5hrs sleep comes off that total, plus all the turning around to look in paddocks at wrecks, which I put dibs on one , western cars you gotta luv'em. The FC is definately my old one, a repair on the rear parcel tray plus a different bolt in the front bumper confirmed it. So now I feel like a 21 year old (but Jodie won't let me have one ). Happy days, Dean.

Congratulations Dean. How flukey would you be? I know you were hoping it might have been the original - but I bet you nearly jumped out of your skin when you confirmed it. You're a very lucky man - how many of us say, "Jeez, I wish I still had the first car I ever owned" Martin

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

Starter motor has died . Luckily me ol' mate Allen came to the rescue with a replacement......is this how a rebuild starts? Dean.

Well Done Dean, You are obviously very happy now that you have your old car back. A rebuild for me got out of hand quite few years ago when the engine died. The engine bay was a bit messy as the battery had overcharged leaking acid. I decided to repaint the engine bay. As I got around the front end components I began removing them too, to give them a tidy up. 18 months later it was finished, it had been down to the bare shell and rebuilt. Just fix the starter motor and drive it You will enjoy it more! Keith

You must be on cloud nine right now Dean she looks great, are you coming up this way soon I've still got that brand new 2" sports system(with mounts) here you can have to go with those extractors, with the place on the market though you need to do something about soon if you want it. Pedro

Pedro, I will talk to Jodie about going on a road trip. I have finished up that way, now I am working at the Caltex servo in Casino. Jodie has until the 11th off, so it could be good to get away for a couple of days. I will shoot you a PM when I have convinced Jode that we need a getaway. Dean.
