If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

G'day Dean, you're welcome to come up but it would probably cost more in fuel than the exhaust is worth, unless of course it's just an excuse to take the new car for a drive Wink Grin Grin

Huh Well that is one way to solve it, remove it altogether, I don't see how that would help....

Dean,
i noticed you put in your post of when you are picking the FC up you said that you left Albury to go and pick it up. Do you live in Albury? If so then we should meet up and share stories.

 Cheers Scott

I can't see what the issue here is either Dean - however, I suspect some are getting a little excited with the impending Nats and your changes have given them an opportunity to engage in a bit of light hearted sh!t stirring.  And if the old saying "never a truer word than in jest" is right then it comes back to people's own personal preferences and in this case it's your car so it's your preference that counts!

I have always believed that on a two-tone FE/FC the best combination would be an FE grille combined with an FC paint scheme and side flash - so I was very happy to see what you'd done.  Cheesy  And, no, I'm not looking for any bling to detract from the classic and stylish simplicity of my single tone car!  Tongue Grin

Yes Kathi, this is something that I have thought about for a few years now & even before I had the car I started collecting the necessary bits.
I don't mind a bit of light hearted ribbing myself & entering the Nats is what spurred me on to get in & do it. It would be pretty boring if all our cars were identical. So, bring it on!! Grin
