WTB: Number plate surrounds, the plain type, similar to the front ones where the rear has the with Holden Script.

Like this one, but no Holden script.

Need a pair in good to excellent usable condition.

Thanks,

Craig.

Hi Craig, a pair of number plate surrounds one with the Holden script went for over $200 on ebay just last week.

There was also a pair at the VIC FE FC Auction that went for $150 on Friday night.

Thanks Kevin, don't want or need the Holden script, just the plain type.

These were sold aftermarket during the 60's and 70's - I've noticed that lots of mid 70's cars have them.

I already have a set on my FC sedan but now I need them to complete my XU1.

Cheers,

Craig.

Bump.

Can anyone help with these?

Here is a picture of the ones on my FC sedan. This is what I am looking for.

Thanks,

Craig.

wow, when i was working up in newcastle at a detailing shop that did some work for some of the cheaper local yards we used to break them off and put plastic ones on, I am sure i got one of those holden ones once and broke out the part were it says holden and put it in my pocket, maybe it was a dealer name with holden on it.
silly me kept the brand new dealers plate frames to stash away (plastic early-mid 90's) when i should have been taking home the old aluminium ones we were braking up.

LOL RET.

Mmmmmm, ALMOST

Gary, FE's are the most beautiful and well designed of the early Holden's, even the dust collecting horizontal speaker grill is a work of art, along with the stone attracting front mounted bonnet emblem.  Grin And what about the sun glare prone uncovered instruments, now there's another exceptional design feature.  Wink

Is that enough nice things?Huh

If you're keen to sell, I'm keen to buy. You have my promise that at next weeks All Holden Day I'll walk straight past the FC's and pour out my love for the FE.

P.M me or call 0407 321 600 if I passed the test!!

Cheers,

Craig.
