Hi guys,
As you will be aware this years Grey Pride run to Berrima is happening next Sunday the 20th of May. This year we have arranged for the local Bush Fire Brigade to run a sausage sizzle in the park, they will also do the traffic control for us. They are not able to take donations on entry but will have a fire mans hat at the BBQ where we can donate a gold coin for their support. This is a great oportunity where we can support a local community so plan to buy a sausage on a roll for lunch. For more information contact me on 0418-343-653
cheers,
Graham

Yummm.... sausages! Will they have egg & bacon as well?

I'm looking forward to this run again, hope the weather's nice.

If anyone's interested in entering the ACT Holden Day, don't forget we'll have entry forms & our receipt book with us.

Cheers,

Graham

Rusty,

More than likely, Greg, RET and myself will meet at the truck inspection bay on The Nortnern road on Sunday morning at 8.00 for a 8.30 departure.

PS Zulu may be there as well.

See you there.

Unfortunately the BBQ with the local Bush Fire Brigade has had to be cancelled as they don't have the correct insurance to cater such an event.
Sorry for any inconvenience we will have to support the local shops instead.

Its probably the public health issues regarding the food that has snagged the firies.

The ACT club barbie may also be along - there may not be time for us to get supplies to sell, but we may be happy to share our hot plates with anyone wanting to do some cooking - assuming that GPs eggs and bacon aren't hogging the whole surface.

See you there,
David

Grey Pride was on yesterday, and we saw yet again a great roll up of cars, with 89 cars in attendence. These cars came from several clubs, with the bulk of the cars falling within the "grey" cars, 48-215 - EJ.
To start with here's a short video as we set off from the meeting point to Berrima in the Southern Highlands.
Click on the image link below (Hope it works)

Here are some pics.

Lots more pics in my album here:

Thanks for sharing your pics Alex, beautifully crafted as usual.

The two tone red/pink FE pulled alongside us as we climbed the hill out of Mittagong, I looked at it, thought he was about to lose his sunvisor (memories of the Nats) tried to sound horn - didn't work.

Thankfully, because when we got to Berrima I realised it wasn't a Nasco one and was supposed to sit as high as it does Roll Eyes

A great day thanks to the organisers and everyone who attended for their company.

One day I'll get an !@#$% FE to one of these events

Cheers

It's Terry James I think..... I didn't meet him, but saw his beautiful FC at the Easter Show last month....

My FC needs new king pins so unfortunately I couldn't drive it to Grey Pride on Sunday (still at the mechanics today). I was planning to head down late morning in the Commodore but my son and nephew "tackled" me on Saturday afternoon leaving me limping around on crutches and unable to drive anywhere...

Looks like it was a great day!! Great turnout again which is encouraging...

Awesome pics again Alex, thanks for sharing them!

Cheers

Alex,

Nice pics. You've got me stumped with the non-holden coupes though. The green one is a Daimler SP250, yes? I've got no idea about the silver and maroon ones though. They look pretty exotic though.

Cheers,

Dave

PS particularly enjoyed the EJs.
