Wow,
Looking very good, not too far to go now, most of the hard work appears to be done. I will be pleased when I am at that stage with my car

I''l say. Shocked Shocked Shocked

They look so round!! Shocked Shocked

I think that when you knock them into a square shape, the lens might need to be ground to suit.  Which way square by the way?  Diamond or square?

Well, after being painted for nearly 8 weeks the car is about 40% covered in crazy cracking. Undecided

John,
You must be shattered!  Have you used the same painter for all of your cars?  The thought of having to go back to square one for repainting would upsetting.  If you need any help, yell out!! Happy to give a hand if you need it.

thanks for the offer michael but i dont know if i am going to keep it now, all the glass and interior is in and i washed the dust off thats how i found the cracking.
the car was taken back to bare metal and sprayed with acrylic paint but the cracking is only in the red and not the white, so it must a fault with the red. but it still dont change it  Cry Cry Cry

Hi John,

So sorry to hear that the paint is cracking, I repainted the flares on my Landcruiser and they cracked, apparently because I used acrylic over 2 pak, I have to take them back to the gel coat before I paint them again.

I don't see why it is cracking if you have used the same type of paint, still doesn't change the fact that it has.

If I wasn't so far away I too would offer to come and help, at the moment best I can do is wish you good luck with it, and hope that you don't give up on it.

Regards

Keith
