In between night shifts i decided to pull out my dash fascia as i am putting in a chrome one.  I got it all out apart from the light switch.  How do i get the light switch out wothout breaking anything?  There does not seem to be a screw or anything holding the system to the rear of the fascia.  Sometimes I think i should leave stuff to my mechanic...... hi Tayz

To get the light switch out you must depress the little dimple on the rear casing of the switch, then pull out the knob with the shaft ( as though you were turning on the headlights).  Then use a wide flat screwdriver to unscrew the slot on the fascia/dash. The switch will then be removable from the back of the dash.

have fun.   Grin Grin

Hey Tayz
The retaining plunger is on the top of the switch block behind the dash facia. pull the switch to the full on position ,depress the plunger ,  then pull the knob out , undo the slotted retainer ,disconnect wires and you should have it.
