Hi all, i stay at the rydges motels(excellent motel chain) 2/3 times a week with work(in syd and melb)but i have stayed at the one at hawkes nest several times and i found to be crap BUT has good parking for your holden.The one at lake side i stay there heaps when i visit Canberra and found it to be a VERY NICE motel and has out side parking aswell as under cover parking(under the motel) this would be my choice..plus its close to town..(just my opinion though)..Cheers Mark.....

We encourage all interstate entrants and spectators to stay at Rydges Lakeside (you can book online via our website). All guests that book before 31 July go into the draw to win their stay for free. Guests will also be on location for our informal/unofficial drinks and dinner which will be held at Bobby McGees Restaurant on the Ground Floor of Rydges Lakeside on the Saturday night before Sunday's Show'n'Shine.

Glad to hear your coming up for the ACT Holden Day.  Are you coming up for the day or are you staying somewhere overnight.  If you are in town on Saturday night come along to the informal get together at Rydges Lakeside Hotel for dinner and/or a drink.

Otherwise, make yourself known to us on Sunday, we'll be wearing the really bright and colourful orange safety vests.  You never know, we may even put you to work  .
