Hi all,
can someone tell me if there is a stock tailshaft that will fit an FC with a 179 red and Trimatic.

Hi Leigh
I had the same problem.
Originally i had a HR tailshaft i think but i used a UC torana manual shaft, It was a bit shorter than usuall.
It was a good length but you wouldnt want to go much shorter.

Hi Leigh,I have a brand new tailshaft with new unis and just balanced that will suit your needs im looking for $80
for it.Im in Adelaide but ive shipped parts all over so its not a problem.Just pm me if interested thanx BRAD

Hi again Leigh,
I have just done all the required measurements for my project and found that an EK automatic tailshaft with a HG trimatic yolk fits nicely.
I am running a RH diff though, I guess that you would be too.

I can give you the length later on in the week if you need?
