has anyone got a HR manual, my car has been in peices so long i cant remember how anything looks together.

Before i go putting on the retainer clips, in this pic have i got the handbrake lever sitting the rite way?


and are these shoes in the right spots, the one at the fornt has a big sace before the friction material, is that rite.


also i have lost these bits that go on the end of the adjuster, i saw them only a few weeks ago but now cant find them, are these getable?

Here's a picture of my HR brakes, before I changed the cylinders and pads for disc front items. HTH
Large gap before the friction material goes to the front.

Thanks stinky. mine looks different becuase its the passenger side, now i just need to find those brake adjuster bits.

Hey Leon.
Here is the pic out of the Gregory's. You should invest the $10 and pick up 1 at the next swap.



I think your cylinders and shoes look to be HD. The HD has short rods coming out of the cylinder with a flat end, while the HR has longer rods with slots that line up with notches in the brake shoe. (see stinky's)

I am quite sure the HD/HR setups would be the same.
My picture shows the "drum front" rear pads and cylinder, Leon's pics are what mine look like now, with the short rods.
So Leon, as long as you are running discs on the front they should be fine.
