Hi All

I had a Air Chief radio restored a few years ago but have only just fitted it. I've tried a few locations for power and earth but the radio isbt working. I'm either doing something wrong or it dud. Can anyone advise the best locations to source/connect the active and earth? Thanks

Hi Tony the easist place for the positive is the cig lighter. For the negative just bolting the unit underneath the speaker grille will earth it for you.
Cheers,

There will be two power leads coming out of it, but the radio itself earths to the vehicle (as Graham said).  The second wire is for the light in the radio dial and should be attached to one of the dash-lights or the light switch itself.

HTH
