Hi, I have been offered front LH & RH outer door skins, NOS, by old mate. He would like $250 for the pair. I've seen them and they are genuine, mint, but surface rusty (normal).

Good value for $$   Huh

I've seen them go for more (and less).  It's a reasonable price by the market.  The question is, are they worth $250 to you?

cheers

Nothing against the Rares half or full skin, but they aren't the same as a NOS item.

I've not seen my Rares one yet (it got delivered to work, and I've been sick for two days!) so I really can't judge what the differences would be.... though I don't think I'd be hunting down an NOS item... unless the repro one is as flat as a.... well, y'know Wink

Hello Cam
I will give your mate $250.oo for the skins as long as they are not to rusty and are genuine NOS.
As Ret said NOS have to be far better then repro. How much do you think you would pay for a pair of VR- ect - door skins in fifty years , if you could find some. send me a PM if you don't want them. I'm in Brisbane to.

I picked up a full set of NOS skins front and rear and had no problem paying $200.00 each. The four of them have been sitting in the garage for 3 years now just waiting for the day I get serious.
Their worth what you want to pay, really.
I'd buy them all day long for 250 a set. They're not always going to be around.
