I just took my old rare spares 3-4 speed all sync crossmember down to a engineering shop to get a new one fabricated for the changes under the floor.
I noticed that the holes were the trans mount bolts up are offset about 3mm to one side.
Any one know if they are supposed to be like this or is this just sloppy work, think they are from crs and never noticed any problem as sometimes the holes in the rear mounts themselves dont even seem to be rite in the centre but should I get them to drill the holes in the new one in the same spot as the old crossmember or get them drill dead in the centre?
