Yesterday's green guide had a write up of Clive Robertson's new show Agany Aunts with Clive Robertson. The promo pic has the three of them sitting in an FE. Not sure if the car is a feature of the show or not as I didn't get to watch it.
did anyone see the show? Is the FE a regular feature?

Yes that is my car and the car will be fearured in the show. The show will run for 6 weeks Starting on Tuseday 16/5 on ABC at 8:00pm

The FE is the highlight of the show, that's for sure :-/ The not-to-be-missed program on free-to-air at the moment has got to be "Peking to Paris". There's an adventure that makes driving from Sydney to Phillip Island in an FE look like a walk to the shops. It is unbelievable how poorly prepared the people and vehicles are. This is an expedition of Burke and Wills magnitude, and by the end of the first episode, looked likely to end the same way. ABC, 7.30pm Sunday. Check it out at the ABC's website, where there are details about the original race, images of the cars etc. Sorry for the hi-jack, but what these guys are tackling just beggars belief. You've got to see it: retracing the route of the original 1907 Peking to Paris (through China, Mongolia, Siberia and then Europe) with the same vehicles: 2 De Dion Boutons, a Dutch Spyker, an Itala and a "Contal" - what you might get if you crossed a motorised rickshaw with a wheelbarrow. The whole concept is stupefyingly audacious. cheers RET |

Well done Wayne.
Certainly the highlight was the FE and didn't it look great. They need more coverage of the car and less of the interview.

Hi All' Driving home from work last night Grumble Bum (Clive Robertson) received a call on his (Stan Zamarnik) radio show asking about the FE and as to why it had blinkers. He gave his version of blinkers on old cars but did say that the car is much loved & cared for by its owner. Now Wayne, We don't get the impresion that you are very fond of you car....... ....Not much we don't. Great to see your car on TV wayne. Mr & Mrs FC_Driver. |
