I currently have an electronic dizzy and standard electronic coil fitted up to my 202.
The motor has had a fair amount of work including the following
- 9 port head, modified with head studs cut out and flow work done. Compression to suit 98 octane petrol.
- HQ Racing pistons
- Starfire Rods
- Blue(?) motor crankshaft, can't remember what was done exactly but it cost a lot at the time
- Cain 4 bbl manifold and 450 Vac Sec Holley
- Waggot Cam Profile 238, 38/80 ? if that makes sense
- Upgraded trimatic and 3000 stall convertor.
My question is - should I be looking at (saving for) a performance iginition system such an MSD? and will I get noticible benefits?
I am NOT chasing hundreths of seconds on a quarter mile time slip.
