 :)G Day.
I hope I can help someone who has a small problem  as I had under my bonnett regarding my left hand fire wall.
Every time I took my car out for a run on my return I would look under my bonnett and there would be as it seemed oil splashed on the fire wall.
Talking to some members I came to the conclusion it must be coming from my oil bath on  top of my  carburetor.
I drained the oil out of it and again there was oil splashed on the fire  wall.  Well I thought it was oil.
Maybe it  was coming from the carburetor the plunger stem that is located  at the bottom of the carburetor fuel bowl.
The cause maybe the fuel level wasn't right. So I ajusted the float level and all was just right no messy fire wall.
So Graham if you not yet fixed your messy problem try that and if anyone else who  has the same problem I hope I was able to help.
Regards. Leon Wink
