The Drags and Show were great to see. I Cann't wait for the next one that whill be on around October this Year as I take my LJ Torrie there. And race against Alex (Customfc) or John (Johnrap) in the Race car. Cheers Jonesy  PS: I'll try and post so pic's through the week |

trouble for the Smitts / Rapinette team at eastern creek  Back in the pits the crew tried to do whatever they could to put the car back in the game couldn't eliminate the breaking down / miss or whatever the hell it was.   |

The FE ute was running in the 13's with red mtr. The White FE sedan was also in the 13's with V8. The EJ had a turbo 6 and was running 12.4's. Here is a highlights video currently doing the rounds. Any one notice the commentator was saying that EJ with a red 6 had a small block chev in it. I guess if they dont know they just make stuff up like magazines and newspapers.
Also with the thousands of songs written about hot rods and drag racing they seemed to stick to hippy music, Someone requested jan & dean, (for those that dont know this band mainly wrote songs about muscle cars, surfing and drag racing) The commentators kind of made fun of his request, maybe the commentators forgot they were at the nostalgia drags and thought they were at woodstock smoking joints in their flower painte d kombi.
