Sorry if this topic has been covered elsewhere, but how is the best way to install a grille ?

Currently my grille is in pieces....the frame and all the chrome strips and teeth are apart from polishing ect.  So do I install all the chrome onto the frame first and then install between the front fenders, or do you install the frame between the fenders first then attach all the chrome ?

Any help from those who have travelled this road before would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Mark,

There is a few ways to do this, but I reckon assembling the grille, fitting it to the car, and then fitting the guards is the way to go.

You just need to be careful of chipping the paint where the grille and the guards meet at each end of the grille.

Someone did post a picture up that showed how the factory did it though, they fitted the grille to the guards and then put the whole lot on the car at once.

Cheers,

Craig.
