Thumbs up and a yip yah .After a long time in the shed our FE wagon has jumped back to life. After many long hours of blood sweat tears and skinned knuckles the old girl fired up today with a bang ,a bit of smoke a lot of noise.Still have a way to go though. The outer sills have to be moved out about 1/2 an inchat the front, brakes to do, rub it all back and put some colour onto it .

Good one Rusty,
Nothing like starting up for the first time, keep on going, soon you'll be driving her for the first time.

May i say after doing a couple of rebiulds of cars, that no matter what stage the car is at, that the firing of the engine for the first time is one of the most satisfying moments of the biuld. Congratulations Rusty and may there be many more satisfying moments, cheers Scott

Your so right Scott I fired up my 192 4 days ago and religesly I get home from work and walk straight over to give it a rumble before I say gday to the family. Now my daughter just hears the sweet sound of a lumpy red and says Daddy daddy daddy daddy daddy ....Daddy's home.
Congrats Rusty - know the feeling and it works wonders on your motivation .
