Since both posts had exactly the same name, I made the mistaken assumption that they were duplicate and deleted one.

However, if you want to send some pictures to Alex, surely a better idea would be to email him?  His email address is in his profile.  If you can't do that for some reason, perhaps two posts in the same thread?

Hey Rusty.
In answer to your question, yes the linkages have to be reshaped as well as shortened. If you take a look at the pics in my original post regarding this topic, they should give you some idea what they should look like. Make sure the shifter is bolted on and centered and that the arms clear the housing on sweep. You may need to manipulate them outward if too close.

Cool doona cover Rusty - looks like one of the original 70's one.

It may be easier to go get yourself a bit of 10mm bar from the local hardware store and make a few proto types before bashing away on the current linkages.

how are you (or Alex how did you) get around the clutch.  Use a hydraulic clutch adapter or did you change to a cable?

Hey Al.
Good idea on the rod template. You could probably bend up something using welding wire to give the clearances.
As for the clutch....I used the original slave cylinder with a Dellow mount adapter.
