Does anyone know of reasonably priced front shock absorbers to suit FE ute? Rare Spares want $150 each for the ones they stock! Shocked
Also, what is a good replacement (off the shelf) muffler for my very perforated current unit?
Thanks a lot.

I got some Monroe's from my local Autopro Store for a reasonable cost, if memory serves it was a tad over $150 for all four corners (at mates rates).
Not sure about mufflers though, but a bargain that was pointed out on the http://www.Autospeed.com site a while ago, is the fact a lot of rice-boys replace their perfectly good low mileage exhausts for those demented coffee cans. If you find a sympathetic shop owner you might get yourself a bargain.

I guess it depends on how you use your car, but when I used my FC every day I used to run Koni shocks all round (Before the resto). They were quite expensive (about $120 each from memory), but they were EXCELLENT shocks. I would highly recommend them. They were heaps better than the OEM that I now run in the ol'girl.

Cheers,

Graham
