Hi,

I have a new fuel pump to install in my 179.  The manual says very little and makes it sound very easy, although it warns to make sure the pump sits on the lobe properly.

Are there any tricks to installing a new pump and is it really that easy?  Should I use some bearing grease on the lobe?

Regards
Dave

Dave
Yes it's that easy, a little grease wont hurt. Just when you push in make sure its flat and straight.
