I'm chasing a bonnet spring assembly.....that is.....the spring with the pin and seats that hold the bonnet closed, not the hinge springs and not the bonnet catch lever.

Mine was buggered, so it was cut off with the angle grinder.

If you can help out, please reply.

Cheers

Mark

Just checked one of my wrecks, if I can get it off without busting it, it's yours.

Thanks...much appreciated !

Mine was rusted at the nut inside the front of the bonnet.....just couldn't crack the nut without wrecking the slot at the top of the pin where he screwdriver goes !

Is there any specific torque settings you need or just whatever I can find  ?

Whatever you can find Mark, Ed is also going to send some stuff. So between the two of you I should be OK.

Mark, I have this Spring Pin and retainer you require and have emailed you regarding it. Had to sacrifice a bonnet with the grinder to get it out for you though. Hows that for a Parts Supplier.!!!!!! Never mind ,, Now I only have 9 bonnets left... (lol)?
