Sorry to ask a question that  no doubt has been asked before, but....Do Extractors that came off a RED head fit a Blue Motor ?

I have a set of Genie Extractors that came off my Red 202, and my friend wants them, but he has a blue 3300 motor.

Any help appreciated

Cheers

I was almost certain that they would not fit, but was going to check a red in my shed (as opposed to under my bed Grin) that has a spare blue head (this is starting to sound like Dr Seuss...).

But like Rubble, I'm almost positive red and blue inlet and outlet manifolds (and extractors FTM) are incompatible.

cheers

Hi Guys.

While red extractors will not bolt straight on to a blue head, the port match is fairly close & if you use a round file or similar you can make the studs line up.

The big difference with the blue head is the inlet ports, not even close.

Hi Blown_FC,
I was fairly certain that the extractors would fit.
Blue motors are 12 port but the extra ports are on the INLET SIDE.
I'll see if i can find out for sure tomorrow Wink
