Hi, I'm chasing a HR lower ball joint, the original type unit - not the later non-greasable ones that you can buy from GM-H.  NOS if at all possible, as we already have a NOS one for the other side.

Thanks in advance.

cheers

be very carefull buying supercheap load bearing parts like uni joints and front end parts,as they stock some nasty taiwanese crap ,make sure they are name brand gear.

Mine have been in there since rebuild (1998) regularly greased, driven up and down the eastern seaboard at least three times and regular driver (every day 80k's a day) when in Brisbane for two years, so I think they last very well if maintained.

You should still be able to buy the greaseable balljoints.
Late HD to WB are all the same.

Bought some greasable ones recently from Bursons. I believe they're Aust. wide and have reasonable prices.

the previous one was non greasable and had a nylock. ew.

Thanks everyone who's replied.  I'm chasing this for a mate - it's actually for a WB as it happens.  The owner is pretty particular and does not want a "cheap taiwanese part" if he can get another NOS one to match the last one he already has in his workshop.

I will pass on all the suggestions tho - thanks again.

cheers

Ret,

Send him to Pedders.  Their balljoints are greaseable and appear to be far stronger than the H/D items from Holden.  A mate of mine found & used them in his WB 'Tonner.  He took the GM-H ones back for a refund after he found the Pedders ones.

Cheers
