Well, this has been posted earlier on the NSW section of the forum, but I thought some others might like to know. My wife and I had a new addition to our family, Benjamin Alexander. Born Sunday 16th November, at 12:26pm. 6lb 15oz, 3140g and 53cm long. Here are a few pics. 2 minutes old. (Just got the "gunk" wiped off.) Just after his check up and the first (of many) nappies. The first bath. Regards Alex

I was disappointed, expecting a pic of a new car or project! But seriously, congratulations, kids are a bigger buzz than firing up your rebuilt car for the first time!

Ah but sgo, it is a kind of project, it just depends on your definition. The kind of project that consumes vast amounts of your time and money, that you often feel like giving up on, but you know one day it will make you very proud if you do it right. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Best wishes Alex, Fiona and Ben. cheers RET

goodnoya alex and of course mrs alex. this is the kind of project where you just do a bit at the start and enjoy the finished product when the building is complete. make the most of it while you can because they grow up too quick. i have three 14, 12 and 8. and wouldnt change them for quids, not even a mint fe i would have thought that maybe Francis Christopher or Frederick Charles might have been more appropriate but seriously my middle one is named alexander, love the name. congrats to you and the rest of the tribe denis

Congradulation the joy of a new life, no other feeling like it. I have 3 sons and 2 daughters, and was there for every birth. Something that I would not have missed for all the tea in china. Alex to you and your better half I hope this little bundle of joy is all you have hoped for and everthing you wished for. Just remember that this is what Life is all about Kids & old Holdens. Both will make you proud, give you endless memories, a life time of love an joy and both will keep your hand in your wallet. Best Wishes Mark P.S Alex as always great pics.

Congrats Alex & Fiona And wecome Benjamin to the FE FC Holden Car Club. Did you name him after Ben? Now you have to buy double the amount of hotwheels cars. make sure you have your model cars up high, Even when you think they are well hiden young boys have radar for this stuff and from the time they learn to roll over your collection is at risk. I have found quite a few empty torn up hotwheels packets on the floor from my collection. I even cought my oldest (son who is now 3) red handed with the remains of a once immaculate Trax FE box wich he tore up like gift wrap on christmas morning to get to the FE inside. also recently a hotwheels 25 anniversary nomad with badge somehow made its way down from the top of the bookshelf to become a victim. Hot wheels arent the only objects targeted as Cruizin and newsledder magazines somtimes look like they have been put through a paper shredder after the youngens have their read. This could be even nastier with car culture deluxe magazines that come at a much higher price. On the good side you can play with your sons hot wheels cars without taking yours out of the packet. You have now got a excuse for keeping your car a four door. You also can now park closer to the shopping centre entrance as that baby seat lets you park in the parents with prams spots. Are you going to give the pram the custom treatment that you gave your car? Are there any pedal car plans started on yet? Will the baby seat be covered in a confederate flag to match the hoodlinning?
