Jockster, when I was looking through the cars for sale, I saw that you had two for sale but had withdrawn them from sale. I tried to do a reply on that post but couldn't so I have done it here.
My question is about the burgundy and silver car, do you still have it and if so would you consider selling it, I saw the car at a Rod Run at Port Fairy a couple of years ago and loved it, I would be very keen to buy it. Would it pass Vic roadworthy.
Regards

Hi Jim
Yes I still have the car. As far as I am aware with some minor repairs to the handbrake it would pass a Vic Roadworthy.
Yes I will sell it as I have another project vehicle, but at present I have a guy keen to buy it as soon as he sells his car (a genuine 40,000Km HJ GTS Monaro Coupe), so I am allowing him some time to do this. If he can't sell in time or changes his mind I will let you know
Cheers

Have you put any time frame on the other guy as to how long you will wait for him, just so I know what to plan around.

G'day Jim
Yes I have put a time frame on the sale of the car, he has until the 15th of February then it will go back onto the open market, basically "first in buys" from that time on.
Cheers

Hi Jockster
I was hoping to get a car a bit earlier than that, would you consider selling it earlier if I was to offer you maybe a $1000.00 to $1500.00 more, I really like that car.

G'day Jim,
Your offer is tempting, but I gave the other guy my word and to me that is more important than the extra dollars, no matter how tempting it may be. The car will not be available until February 15th unless the other guy advises me that he has changed his mind and that is how it is. Thanks for the offer, but you will have to be patient or select from one of the many other good examples that are advertised on this site.
Cheers

Thanks for your comment Glenn, I appreciate it. While the extra money would be very nice, I just think my word is more important....anyway I would probably only spend it all on the other FCor the Hornet project so if I haven't got it I won't miss it.
Cheers
