Will a hr steering column and box bolt straight in to an FC Manual

Michael,
It will, but it's not a straight bolt in option.  The bolt holes on the Y-frame where the steering box is attached are not exactly the same.  I think from memory two of the three bolt holes line up, and part of the Y-frame needs to be reshaped to make the box fit.
You also have to use the HR pitman and idler arms.  Ordinarily you would not attempt this modification unless you already had a HR disc brake front end.  What would be the point otherwise.  There is an article describing how to do this in our Technical Info section check out  http://www.fefcholden.org.au/techinfo/
