I have recently bought an FC wagon in very original condition,
so original, it had the original rubber floor lining. I have since
removed it due to it's worn condition, but was wondering if
anyone knows of any reproductions?  Huh

Obselete Auto Rubber in Melbourne remake the original floor mats - last cost was $280.00 for the front, and $280.00 for the rear. These are a VERY good repro and worth the money.

They advertise each month in Unique Cars, just at the end of the colour section.

Cheers,

Craig.

You can - Graham Pryce added the FC "speckle" to his, and it looks very good indeed.

Yes I did add the speckle to mine and (thankfully) it turned out quite good. I practiced on the back of my old floormat first, to see how it went. Very importantly, clean the new floormat thoroughly before you start (from memory I scrubbed mine with prepsol). I then used about a 1" or 2" paintbrush, dipped it in the paint, held it upside down (bristles pointing up) and flicked it with my finger until I had the desired result. I was VERY nervous about stuffing it up, but as Richard said, it turned out very good.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Graham.

Hi Geoff.
That would be a very hard thing to do. Firstly, trying to find a vinyl paint that will work, then trying to match it to your colour.
I am not sure if you realise, but the floormats in the FB's & EK's were not fully coloured. All black, some got the speckles. The EJ started the fully coloured mats. Send me an email (to Remind me) & I will look up the details in my EK master parts catalogue.
