Hi guys,

I'm an occasional lurker that owned an FC Special a few years ago.
Anyway, I was at Pick 'n Payless wreckers at Blacktown (Sydney) the other day and they had an FE shell. Its basically a rolling shell with good floors but no roof - definitely not a restoration project.
I know some of you guys are interested in ID plate details, so here they are.

Body ID No.  FE 225  5189 S

Trim No.  204 /467

Paint No. 253 / 748 1

R.P.O. 253 / 7478

TOP. A9 or A0 - can't really tell, whole plate looks like it was stamped in the dark!.

Thanks GTS, for info on this car. Smiley
I have just started some mods on my FC and found my subframe to be rusted in some crucial areas so rang mike
at the redfern warehouse and was told by mike he had some NOS front subframes, so travelled down from newcastle to sydney and when I got there he had only inner guard and chassis rail components and not the front apron rail which was the main area I needed, but he has heaps of other stuff for FC and FE's and so I was dissapointed Sad and only left with some new in the packet quarter window locks, but I remembered this post and went to the wreckers in blacktown and found the car still there and got a complete and rust free subframe which with a clean up will keep me on track.

Thanks Alex,
Yer to find a good subframe without rust is pretty hard to find, mike had two wrecks there but subframes also had rust and slightly out of wack.
Anyway on my way and yes lucky, thanks mate.

cheers Paul
