Harko and I dug out my car books from the garage (if you saw it you'd know why I said "Dug" . I haven't had them out of the boxes in 20 years.

After hours of looking for FE/FC's we still had about 200 books to go ,,,,, Roll Eyes

Oh Well ,  always another weekend to finish lookin,

Guy's.
This is great to see. That is what I love about cars & the people who love them. There is no age barrier & you can just make friends so easily. I have a couple of "Mates" down here. They love their Holdens, have great stuff to share & it is as if we have been buddies since school. One of them is 78, the other 67. The 78 YO is a Pastor in a church. No religious stuff he tries to push, we just both dig cars. The other fella, used to race at Longford in TAS & competed with the likes of Jack Brabham. Now he has some stories.

Keep it up guys. I think this is the only "Sport" in the world where it doesn't matter who you are, how old you are or what you do, if you dig Holdens & you meet someone else who digs Holdens, you can become mates so easily, crossing all barriers.

Rob J

p.s. This does not include Jaguar & MG owners. They seem snobby to me, but hey, what do I care? They should get themselves a Holden!!

Man theyre good photos Norm, Its the closest I can get to a collection like that ,
Inspiration I hear you say Mark ,The 60s and 70s were all about uglying your car to make it ciool I think, The custom work on some of the old humpies is truly amazing ,Big big flares ,Twin vertical headlights, EH front clips on anything and everything and fins fins fins it didnt matter what period your car was built in just weld on some fins and you were too cool for school.
And Rob I couldnt have said it better myself ,Norm is a mate and will be for many years to come thanks to Mr Holden (What was his name again"

Also theres one little thing Norm hasnt mentioned that is he has taken delivery of the FC Couch I had for sale ,Get yourself out of this one Norm  Grin
