Great job son of a restorer, tell us about the car. It looks like a pretty well worn example, is it a Standard or Special?

If you get the plate details we can work out what colours it was and approximate its manufacture date. Are you able to get the info?

Good to have you on the forum.

Cheers,

Craig.

Nice work with the pics. Even more amazing is that you are only 13. Looking forward to your next image, and welcome to the board.

Its something we'll never get sick of looking at "Photos like these"

Reading into their lives is a good past time.
Check out how the centres of both bars are weathered and the sides ,in particular the lefts arent ,Maybe caused by the wind deflection ,The parking position during their lives ,A difference in chrome quality from factory possibly chromed in different locations or processes, or maybe sourced from other vehicles with different circumstances at some stage.

Look at the mould formed on the roof of the near FC and on no other panels - roof may have been under a tarp, Iwas informed that this mould grows about 1cm every year so gives a good indication of age.

What about how the grille only has one rusted bar ?

T try not to look at things in too much detail but I cant help myself ,I realy realy get off on it  Grin

The left hand front over rider looks to be in good nic, and what about the right side of the bumper, then there the indicator housings and maybe some other bits and pieces.

Whats the chances this care is one of the rare ones, it does not look as though it had any side flashes. Huh

By the way throw those bits in a box and send them to me Wink. We have an electoplate shop were I work and they can work some magic.
