G'day Folks,
I have an FE special with the typical red and white interior but it's missing the front seat upper and lower plastic trims.
I have a set of very good ones to install but they are from an FC which means they are the standard black.
I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction regarding the correct colour/sheen and brand of paint that
i should be using to re-colour these pieces before installing.
Thank you very much.

Richard ..I have some Leatherique finish in Fall Red ,I used in my FC ,see images in " completed projects " on this forum ,I am happy to give you some if it suits your application as I have plenty ,or the guy at Mona Vale will mix to your sample colour..have a look at PPCCO.com.au ..they specialise in leather but do plastics / vinyl also..cheers Vern ..

Richard, the plastic trim colour was matched exactly to the seats.

Thank you very much Gents !
I really appreciate the offer of the "fall red" paint Vern but as Ken has pointed out,is that a match to the red in the FE ?
Also, what sheen should the correct colour paint be ?

That would be great FE_UTE, thank you very much.
I am more than happy to pay the postage cost should you find a suitable piece.
Thanks very much.

Richard ..I dont know if Fall Red was a FE colour , but the trim code on my FC is 304 - 627 , which translates to Fall Red - Black ..if that matches your plate , good start ..Vern ..

Richard,

I've got a 1957 master parts cattle-dog.  if you give me the trim code on the ID plate, I can tell you what the colours are.

Hi Rich,
Fall Red was an FE trim colour. I'm pretty sure I have some old bits and pieces in that colour. Just remember the colours do change a fair bit over time my Teal plastic bits certainly did. Where are you located?
Cheers
