LOCATION - ADELAIDE
Anyone in market for restored 59 FC ?
One owner (one family) since new.
Regretful sale.
I'm trying to get my head around a fair value for it. I'm not playing games - should have a better idea in next couple days as people look at it. Its been in storage for a couple yrs, just giving it a birthday freshen up including all new battery & brakes (all shoes and wheel cylinders)
UPDATED BELOW WITH MORE INFO

Short summary
ONE FAMILY 1959 FC.
WANGARA GREY / ASCOT GREY
GREY 6CYL, 3 SPEED COLUMN SHIFT.
RED RIFF INTERIOR - NO SEAT BELTS.
DRIVEN ABOUT 5000KM SINCE BAREMETAL FULL NUT & BOLT RESTO IN 2010.
NO EXPENSE SPARED RESTO - BASICALLY WANTED EVERYTHING ON CAR TO BE LIKE NEW.
NEW BRAKES / BATTERY (2022) - ALSO HAVE TARTOP BATTERY BUT NEEDS RECO
98% STOCK (SEE BELOW FOR FULL DETAILS)
DID WIN A COUPLE TROPHYS AFTER RESTORATION.

Full details
MY GRANDAD PURCHASED NEW FROM JUNEE HOLDEN DEALER IN 1959.
NO EXPENSE SPARED RESTORATION IN 2010. BASICALLY I WANTED TO MAKE IT BRAND NEW BY REPLACING / RENEWING EVERY PART POSSIBLE.
I WANTED IT TO LOOK EXACTLY LIKE MY GRANDAD DROVE IT. SO EVEN TRICKY ITEMS LIKE LATER MODEL FC SEAT EMBOSSING DONE WITH DIELECTRIC WELDING.
SANDBLASTED, RUST IN FLOOR REPAIRED. PPG 2PAK PAINT DONE ($35K +)
NEW RECO ENGINE
GEAR BOX RECO
NEW INTERIOR - INCLUDING SEATS, OBSOLETE RUBBER FLOOR MATS, ROOF LINING,
NEW WIRING LOOM
ALL CHROME REPLATED, ALL STAINLESS POLISHED
ALL SUSPENSION AND FRONTEND RECONDITIONED
NEW EXHAUST
I KEPT A FEW NON STOCK BITS EXACTLY THE WAY MY GRANDAD HAD IT - NON STD OIL BATH AIR FILTER, RYCO ENGINE OIL FILTER MOUNTED ON FENDER, 2SPD ELECTRIC WIPERS, RADIAL TYRES, PLASTIC CLUTCH/BRAKE RESEVOIRS.
ALWAYS FUNNY TO LISTEN TO RIVET COUNTERS ABOUT THE OIL BATH BEING INCORRECT AND HOW I NEEDED TO "FIX" IT.
